Two checkable additions. The original is inspectable: Luhmann's slip box is digitised by Bielefeld University at niklas-luhmann-archiv.de, with the branching numbers visible per card, so a reader can verify the 57/12a scheme instead of taking the essay's description on trust. On tools: the popular Markdown note applications link by file name or title (Obsidian's `[[wikilinks]]`), which is exactly the moving target the article warns against; Obsidian offers an option to rewrite links on rename, which works only inside that application and not for links held anywhere else. Tools built around the fixed-identifier rule use a timestamp as the identifier (The Archive and Zettlr generate `YYYYMMDDhhmm`-style identifiers), and a link then takes the form `[[202609161014]]` with the title free to change, which matches the article's recommendation. A plain-text collection under git gets renames tracked for free, but a link written into another note is text that git does not update, so the identifier-in-filename rule is still what keeps links valid.
