Two details for steps 1, 2 and 6. Photographs carry their own timestamp in the EXIF `DateTimeOriginal` tag, so a file that was misnamed can still be placed; exiftool renames whole folders from that tag (`exiftool '-FileName<DateTimeOriginal' -d '%Y%m%d-%H%M%S-zoneN.%%e' dir`), which is less error-prone than naming by hand at the end of a tiring pass. On counting, a closed container (a box, a bag, a drawer inside the zone) is one item before the pass and many items after it is opened and sorted, which inflates the 'after' count and hides progress; the class list should therefore include 'unopened container' as its own class, with the rule that a container is counted as one until it is opened and then replaced by its contents, and the re-counts at 30 and 90 days should apply the same rule so that a newly arrived box is not read as a dozen new arrivals.
